MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

The medium of instruction in the Nursery Class, Std. I and Std. II is Malayalam. Pupils are encouraged to learn oral English through music and drama in these classes. In the Middle and High School, English is the medium of instruction, while always maintaining a high standard of Malayalam.

REPORTS are sent to parents three times in a year. Up to Std. VII inclusive there are no examinations. Children are graded according to random tests which will follow after every unit that is taught. Parents are requested to come to school and collect reports from the Class Teachers. Parents are welcome to visit the school on the fourth Saturdays in each month and establish rapport with the teachers.

STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES WITHIN INDIA AND ABROAD

Regular Student Exchange Programmes are held with ABACUS Montessori School , Chennai; St Mary's School, Delhi ; and Mowbray College , Melbourne , Australia . Exchange with the Wayland High School , Boston , U.S.A. took place in 2006. We expect the American kids to make a return trip to India . Parents are expected to 'host' visiting children. Our students stay with host families while abroad or in Chennai and Delhi . This is a wonderful way to get to know the World !
