PROMOTION TO ISC XII
In order to gain promotion to ISC XII, a student in ISC XI must pass in Compulsory English, Compulsory Environmental Education and any three subjects that clearly form a recognised group. There is no provision for a re-test for failed students.
DROPPING ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS IN ISC XI AND XII
If more than five subjects have been taken, it is possible to drop extra subjects preferably at the end of Std. XI. This is a decision which must be taken after very careful discussion between the Principal, Teachers, Parents and Student.
ICSE (X) CHOICE OF SUBJECTS
The Council permits a handsome degree of freedom in the choice of subjects offered. Students may for example, drop Math/Science and choose such alternatives as are offered by the Council. This is a decision to be taken after carefully weighing future career prospects.
COMPUTER SCIENCE is compulsory for all children in Stds. VI to XII. Stds. X and XII pupils may drop this subject in the Third Term before the Public Examination unless it has been chosen as one of the Examination subjects.

We note that the best Universities in U.S.A and U.K prefer students who are not only Science and Maths scholars, but have had a well-rounded education with a sound grounding in English, History, Political Science etc.

Students may opt for special electives paying tutors directly for instruction. Payment will vary according to the number of students taking a particular subject.
A student must take a minimum of FIVE subjects which must include COMPULSORY ENGLISH and COMPULSORY EVE. The maximum number of subjects which may be taken is SEVEN of which three must form an accepted group.
