Street Plays

We have found that Street Plays are a tremendous means of generating awareness about all types of social issues. We have used Street Plays to highlight the following :

DOWRY IS ILLEGAL
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE meted out to a young woman, "Chapati Molly".
SAVE THE MEENACHIL RIVER
BANDHS AND HARTALS
SAVE THE TREES (Chipko style, we stood around the tree to prevent it being cut down)
SAVING THE NARMADA

THE LAYING OF FOUNDATION STONES BY MINISTERS
GANDHI and his relevance today
